At Advantage Laser we can make your parts from print, or from DXF and any common CAD files. Advantage Laser - Capabilities list
Laser Cutting: We use Bystronic Bystar 3015 with a 5' X 10' cutting area, and the Mazak Turbo-X48 Champion, with a 4' X 8' cutting area. Part accuracy depends on geometry, material type and thickness. Abrasive Water Jet Cutting: We use the Omax 55100 cutting system, for cutting ferrous and non-Ferrous material. With water jet there is little to no burr, there is also no heat affected zone. Our company has the capability of cutting some preformed shapes, where fixturing would be involved. Virtually any shape that can be drawn we can cut. Normal sheet metal rules (i.e., punching a hole closer to the edge than a material thickness) many times does not apply to laser and water jet cutting, so seemingly impossible parts may be produced. Programming of the parts can be from drawing, with a reduced cost when a clean exploded DXF file is provided. Advantage Laser only does laser and waterjet cutting and we are quite responsive to the fabricator or machine shop that can benefit from our unique service.
